Rimac, the innovative company that brought us the astonishingly fast Nevera EV, has taken things up a notch with the introduction of the Nevera R. This new version of their electric supercar boasts remarkable performance upgrades that have left the automotive world in awe. According to reports, the Nevera R can go from 0 to 60mph in a mind-blowing 1.74 seconds, making it even faster than its predecessor. With an impressive 2,107 horsepower, the Nevera R outperforms the original model by an additional 200 horsepower.
Aside from its increased power output, the Nevera R also comes equipped with improved aerodynamics, increased downforce, and enhanced grip. These enhancements have led to a significant improvement in the car’s lap time on the challenging Nardo Ring track in Italy, where it managed to shave off an impressive 3.8 seconds compared to the original Nevera. The car’s top speed is electronically limited to 217mph without manufacturer oversight, but with the limiter removed, it can reach a staggering 256mph.
Despite its exceptional performance capabilities, the Nevera R is not just a speed demon. Rimac claims that the car’s 108kWh battery will provide a range of around 250 miles under the European WLTP cycle, although this figure is yet to be officially certified. Interestingly, the company seems to be focusing on other ventures as well, hinting at the development of Croatian robotaxis in the near future. It appears that while the Nevera R is a technological marvel, Rimac is already looking ahead to the next big thing in the world of electric vehicles.
The Nevera R by Rimac represents a significant leap forward in the realm of electric supercars. With its breathtaking performance, cutting-edge technology, and futuristic design, it is clear that Rimac is at the forefront of innovation in the automotive industry. The Nevera R is not just a car; it is a statement of what is possible when creativity, engineering, and ambition come together. As we look towards the future of transportation, it is exciting to see what groundbreaking developments Rimac will bring to the table next.
